8 June 2016 we climbed to the top of Wellington Arch near Hyde Park Corner. Looking out from the balcony, we saw some of the Horse Guard Cavalry returning to their barracks. Later we went across the street to see the Apsley House where the Duke of Wellington lived after leading the troops against Napoleon in the Battle of Waterloo.
