Last week we got to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary and Pat's birthday! Yes! While the birthday celebration was fun, we are eternally grateful for our marriage for "Time and all Eternity," sealed together in a holy temple and to be able to serve the Lord together on this mission!
J.Paul and Alessandra treated us to dinner at Oliveto and ice cream for dessert. It is always so much fun to be with them. President and Sister Stevens called Elder Neeley to sing Happy Birthday. President Stevens is a former member of the Tabernacle Choir! During a quiet moment on our morning shift at the Visitors’ Centre, the Williams and Gales surprised us with singing and a banner and signs that said, “You’re 63!!! You are now “Free.” Elder Neeley is now eligible for the Freedom Pass for the tube and trains!
Later that evening, we went to Portobello Road with Elder and Sister Mullen and enjoyed delicious dinner of fish and chips at “The Fish House.”
Linda gave Pat a British Flag guitar pic and tickets to the Space Spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall.
