Shakespeare at the Globe

31 May 2016 we were able to attend the 2 pm matinee of "The Taming of the Shrew" at the Globe Theatre on the South side of the Thames. The rain stayed away during the 2 hour performance. Skies were gray and it was cool and a bit windy, but we did stay dry in our seats on the wooden benches in the upper balcony. Afterwards, we walked by Borough Market (it was mostly closed by then) and stopped in to see the Southwark Cathedral.
